russia has some sort of idea that they are still a power

russia has some sort of idea that they are still a power what a lode of bullshit

if you take a look at the facts Russia has in its airforce 2749 air craft and USA has 18234 air craft.

When it comes to aircraft- carriers Russia has 1 and the USA has 11 aircraft carriers

To put this in a context that maybe/ hopefully a Russian can understand; The USA Navy is bigger and has more aircraft (war jets ) than the Russian air-force and the Russian Navy put together .

Also a side note is that in the world there is only 21 aircraft carriers and 17 of them are NATO and the other 3 are NATO associated.

This puts the score to 20 to 1 for NATO

NATO WINS !

The Ukrainian Gov. did it to the people one more time

Posted by 21 February, 2011 (0) Comment
226 The Ukrainian Gov. did it to the people one more time Askold S. Lozynskyj

Whose Foreign Ministry is this?

Today at 18:09 | Askold S. Lozynskyj

Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the current leadership of Kosyiantyn Gryshchenko has taken a position which is difficult to understand. After all, despite the overwhelming closeness of President Viktor Yanukovych’s regime to the Russian Federation, Ukraine remains an independent country. One of the functions of its Foreign Ministry and it adjunct diplomatic missions throughout the world is to look out for the welfare of Ukrainians residing and functioning as communities in other countries.

Most recently, Gryshchenko addressing Ukraine’s parliament sided with the Russian government in Russia’s current dispute with the Ukrainian community there. In fact Russia is attempting to liquidate existing Ukrainian structures, most notably the Federal National Cultural Autonomy of Ukrainians in Russia and the Union of Ukrainians of Russia.

Additionally, it has pressured a municipal library of Ukrainian literature in Moscow.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has acknowledged that while the legal bases for liquidation are procedural infractions of Russian law, the underlying reason is the organization’s political activities, including but not limited to participating in commemorations of the Ukrainian famine of 1932-33 (Holodomor), giving interviews to Radio Liberty and the like which does not comport with Russian governmental policy.

At the Ukrainian parliament, Gryshchenko stressed that fault lay with the Ukrainian community in Russia, among other procedural infractions, for “failing to convene annual meetings of members of the Union of Ukrainian Russians.” This assertion manifested not only sycophancy, but ignorance since under the bylaws of the union, meetings of members are to be held on a quadrennial basis. Gryshchenko speaks often with little regard for the facts, but manages to shroud errors with a loud tone and a self-assured visage. Some call it arrogance. Ukraine’s parliament did not know any better, but word leaked out. The union leadership repudiated the minister’s remarks.

The issue is not Gryshchenko’s errors. For some time he and his representative, Ukraine’s ambassador to Moscow, Volodymyr Yelchenko, have been plotting to compel the Ukrainian community in Russia to reorganize by forming a new structure entirely accommodating both to Russian and Ukrainian policies, which do not differ much these days. But the concept of a non-governmental organization being formed and functioning as a conscience of the community, yet subservient to government pressure is vigorously opposed by the leaders of the Ukrainian community in Russia and rightly so.

During last year’s commemoration of the Holodomor, Gryshchenko issued a statement which was read by his ambassador in the United States at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York during a commemorative program organized by the Ukrainian-American community.

Naturally, the term genocide was omitted from the statement, but, perhaps even more significantly, Gryshchenko went out of his way to emphasize the suffering of other peoples throughout the Soviet Union. That may have been a Christian approach, albeit historically incorrect and insensitive to their own people, were it initiated by a leaders of Ukraine’s churches. But this was the statement of Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry. The statement concluded by calling upon the participants to pray for all the suffering.

adv hor The Ukrainian Gov. did it to the people one more time

The irony was so palpable that, at the conclusion, a former high-ranking member of Ukraine’s diplomatic corps, pointed out to me privately, that this was the first time in more than fifteen annual observances at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, that there was no commemorative statement from the president of Ukraine and that the only official Ukrainian government statement attempted to pass over the Holodomor’s Ukrainian specificity. I managed to grab a diplomat from Ukraine’s embassy and cynically requested that he pass on to both the ambassador and Gryshchenko, that in the future Ukraine would be better served if statements on the Holodomor were simply prepared by the diaspora community.

While the post program banter at St. Patrick’s was personally cathartic, unfortunately, Ukraine’s position regarding the Ukrainian community in Russia is damning. The community, perhaps naively, looked for support from the government of Ukraine. When Gryshchenko and Yelchenko sided with the Russians and conspired with the Russians to mold the Ukrainian community in Russia’s and contemporary Ukraine’s image, the Ukrainian community in Russia was doomed with no future as a legitimate non-governmental voice and conscience of Ukrainians in Russia.

Similarly if Gryshchenko remains on top, there is no future for Ukraine’s current Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It should simply rename itself — the Ukrainian Desk at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. But then Victor Yanukovych would not be a president and Gryshchenko would not be a minister. And so the farce continues.

Askold S. Lozynskyj, a New York City attorney at law, is past president of the Ukrainian World Congress.

Russia threatens to bar Europeans that not up with the program

Russia threatens to bar Europeans

who deny Red Army ‘liberated’ them

Eastern Europeans and others who say their countries were occupied by the Soviet Union after the Second World War could soon be barred from Russia under new proposals given official weight by the Kremlin.

DmitryMedvedev 1385696c Russia threatens to bar Europeans that not up with the program

Plz take a look at this article form the associated press under is the article in BLACK and our comments in BLUE (a new fun way of doing it we think :0 )

Those found to contravene the new law, face up to five years in prison.

Dmitry Medvedev, the Russian president, created a commission of 28 legislators and senior intelligence officers which will identify foreign “revisionists” who “disparage the international prestige of the Russian Federation”.

Note: Identify foreign “revisionists”??

Don’t  they mean spy and try to intimidate ,  silence, foreign nationals that don’t get with the dictatorial line of Russia ? Yes a nice way of putting it we think “identify foreign revisionists”. We at ThePravda.org think that THIS is a very typical; Soviet, Stalin way of putting it.

The move, condemned as “Orwellian” by its critics, comes shortly before the Russian parliament is expected to pass controversial legislation outlawing the “rehabilitation of Nazism”.

The bill has attracted criticism because of its definition of Nazi rehabilitation, with those who “belittle” the Soviet Union’s role in the war or criticizing  it in any way will be regarded as equally culpable as those who glorify Hitler.

Note : So if you don’t agree with Putin’s & Demetris  Russian Soviet “history facts” you are glorifying Hitler!. THIS IS TYPICAL RUSSIAN BULLSHIT!

And of-course it is OK to glorify the evil Stalin in Russia as he was a nice guy according to the Russian government Putin & Dimitry.

http://thepravda.org/evil-supporters-of-putins-glowy

How backward, simpleminded and brainwashed can those two Soviets Russians be ?

There stupid logic is the same as saying you are criticizing  the history of car drivers!

So therefor you are glorifying the history  of motorbike riders .

No not true you can criticizes the history of  cars drivers, that dose not mean you glorify the history of motorbikes riders. What has one got to do with the other ? except from the fact that they are both motorists.

Those found to contravene the new law, face up to five years in prison.

Foreign countries whose officials who the commission rules to be guilty of the new crimes will face sanction as well. The bill gives Russia the authority to expel ambassadors or sever diplomatic relations with offending nations and to impose full transport and communications blockades on them.

The legislation is thought to be primarily aimed at states like Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, which maintain they were occupied rather than liberated by the Soviet Union. Sergei Shoigu, a senior cabinet minister who initiated the legislation, has already said it could be used to ban senior Estonian officials.

A Russian MP yesterday said that the Baltic states deserved “to suffer punishment” for holding such views.

NOTE: The Baltic states deserved “to suffer punishment”??

We at ThePravda.org think when it comes to how Russian arrogance has  affected  the Baltic  country’s we must say the Baltic states have suffer more than enough and had more then enough of Russian punishment, before ww2 and after ww2.
Come on is it not true?.
That  things like deportation, annexation, Russafacation , indoctrination, forced-labor camps  and so on….was going on in The Soviet times, in occupied /annexed soviet satellite-states like the Baltic’s .
And the scary thing is that with statements like Senior cabinet minister Sergei Shoigu came with; This arrogance is still getting dished-out/ delivered  by Russia to it’s smaller neighbors today ?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Occupation_of_the_Baltic_states

Lest take a look at IT FORM THIS SIDE (something interesting to philosophy  over):
It is a well known fact, in the rest of the world   (except Russia of course)  If a army of another country  (say Soviet Russia) enters your country (say Estonia)  under the excuse that they are liberating it from another countries army (say Nazi Germany  ) Then this can be look-upon as a liberation.
BUT !!!!  when they have done this so called “liberation”. They takeover the control of the country and don’t give back the control to the citizens and/or the government of that country.
Then THAT is a occupation not a liberation!!!.
Because the idea of liberating a country  is that you acutely give back the country to its citizens and government. Not control it from Moscow.
We ThePravda.org think the Soviet KGB Putin / Dimitry  version of history in Moscow needs to be looked at one more time, before punishment is given out to the Baltic stats by idiot MP’s in Russia with NO historical sens whatsoever.

The new law could also be used to bar Western historians who accuse the Red Army of carrying out atrocities during its advance on Berlin or point out that Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union were once allies under the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact.

Note: So Western and other historians that don’t agree with the KGB Stalin Soviet Putin / Dimitry version of history.  And / or point out the historical FACT that Russian Soviet Union, NKVD, and Stalin was allies with Nazi Germany and attacked Poland together with Nazi Germany in 1939. (16 days after Germany according to the alliance pact Stalin had with Hitler) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soviet_invasion_of_Poland THAT resulted in the annexation of  large parts of Poland (now modern day Ukraine ) will be sent to the modern day gulag and /or will not be welcome in Russia.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viktor_Suvorov

So we guess IT WILL NOT BE A GOOD THING to saying anything about the  facts about Russians  also in April- May of 1940 rounded up thousands (21000) Polish officers (high ranking and lower ranking ) and there wife’s and children  in a forest named Katyn executing  them by shooting then in the head to make it easier, for  Stalin to annex Poland after the ww2 was over .

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katyn_massacreWe wonder what do you get for telling this historical fact castration  done by Putin or just F… up in the place where the sun don’t shine by DEMITRY ? .

This ATTITUDE  right her we think is going  a long way in proving  that Russia is a dictatorial,  totalitarian fascist sate that will not except any free thinking or any criticism or responsibility for any wrong doing.

This type of arrogance can  ONLY come out of a regime that is dictatorial, inhumane and evil to the core of its soul just like the Soviet Union was back in it’s day, when Putin was a little KGB thug.

Seen as a way of teaching recalcitrant former Soviet states respect, the legislation has won almost universal backing in the Russian parliament.

But opposition politicians, who have no representation in parliament, have attacked the bill, saying it effectively reintroduces state ideology for the first time since the fall of the Soviet Union.

“The creation of this commission allows the state to impose its own idea of political will and ideology,” said Vladimir Ryzhkov, a former Duma deputy who was forced out of parliament in 2007 by a law banning independent MPs.

“The former KGB will once again decide what is anti-Soviet and what is not.”

Mr Ryzhkov said that the new legislation was also part of a continuing rehabilitation of Stalin as it will effectively outlaw criticism of many of the former Soviet dictator’s policies.

An officially sanctioned history text book, introduced into schools two years ago, presented Stalin as a great leader while glossing over his repression of millions of Soviet citizens.

Note:What Russia is saying. Stalin is a great leader an Hitler is the devil, this is what they are telling Russian children nowadays !

We at ThePravda.org agree with Russia that Hitler was an absolute asshole and a evil person that deserves NO respect at all . And let us point out:  We  truly believe that in the last 150 years Hitler was one of histories evil f… and we hope he is burning in Hittites (for Russians Hittites is another word for hell)  with the rest of them.

But come on Mr Putin and Mr “President” Dimitry  Stalin did kill 30-40 million IN HIS DAYS of terror and he did annex most of Europe and Eurasia deportations, murders and so on…. . Just in 1932-1933 Stalin did murdered 10 million Ukrainians  (take a look at Ukrainian genocide The Holodmor) He did order the NKVD to take all the food (mostly grain) form the farmers in Ukraine.  And he did export it for a very good price to other country s including Germany.

And lets not forget that the money that Stalin made from the the Ukrainian genocide and the millions of died Ukrainians that was staved to death, was used for building  the steal factories.

That produced steal that was used to make the tanks he used to annexed Poland with in 1939; Together with his good buddy Hitler when they was so good friends from  1938-1941.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HolodomorWe ThePravd.org ask how the the Russian government with Mr Putin and Mr Dimitry, can come up with the idea that  the EVIL Russian DICTATOR J. STALIN is some how a hero and  better than some other guys evil dictator. We think this  is beyond all rational thinking and guess this line of thought can only make any sense to a Russian so why even try to understand it.

And to top of that fantastic  logic form Putin and Demitry.

They have just made a law that says that if you say something they don’t like about Russia or the soviet union and /or Stalin then they will send you to jail for 5 years!

Common how stupid is that?.

Long live the dictators and arrogant  idiots that are in the government of Russia  that’s all we can say !

According to the statement, the PGO’s investigation also showed that the detained activists of Tryzub have no complaints about the terms of their detention.

Comment:  Yes complaining  will for sure”" helped”" them in the ” FREE ” Ukraine where according to the President and the government no one is prosecuted for there political believes in this new and free open/transparent country.

According to the statement, these conclusions are based on several inspections conducted in relation to each of the detainees at all the stages of their detention: in cells at the municipal police station, in temporary detention cells, and in remand prisons.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Sydor Kizin, a lawyer for the detained members of Tryzub and other patriot organizations, said on January 26 that the rights of his clients were being violated by law enforcement and judicial agencies and called on the PGO to investigate.

In total, law enforcement officials detained 15 members of Tryzub and other Patriot organizations on suspicion of decapitating a bust of Stalin in Zaporizhia as well as on suspicion of defiling a monument to Dzerzhynskyi in Zaporizhia by pouring paint on it.

A bust of Stalin was decapitated in Zaporizhia on December 28; the Tryzub all-Ukrainian organization has said that its supporters decapitated the monument.

Police filed a criminal case on January 1 in connection with the destruction of a monument to Stalin by an explosion in Zaporizhia on December 31.

Note : why is there no criminal case filed towards these persons that are ex KGB and conspirators with the soviets that were part of Stalin’s genocide and murdered 10 million ethnic Ukrainians  in this, so called, democratic law obedient  free Ukraine. The Nazi conspirators were charged with criminal case in Nuremberg after the Holocaust. But they were not the Russians Soviets that still control this country and erect Statue of Stalin in Ukraine over the died body’s of millions of ethnic Ukrainians marking their territory just like a dog pisses,  now are they?

Honeymoon over

Posted by 31 October, 2010 (0) Comment

Yes the 8 months of Honeymoon is over and the scorecard is in.

With Yanukovych’s in power these 8 months has been a total rape of Ukrainian Constitution and a total sell out of Ukraine to Russia and the oligarchy elite.

The score card is in, The President of Ukraine Mr  Viktor Yanukovych’s actions has in the last eight months been anti-democratic and to put it very softly destructive to the nation of Ukraine.

The international community needs to stop turning a blind eye to the sinister and Evil anti-democratic character of this rapist constitution-trampling politician and his oligarchy gangsters with the party of regions pro Russian sentiment and anti Ukrainian attitude.

When Yanukovych took over as president on Feb. 25, Some citizens was willing and not without hesitation to try and  give a chance to be a good and  noble person at the head of government but given Yanukovych’s history with hindsight this was well to much to hope fore. As his  person has a record of corruption contacts in gang land and with gangster’s and lets not forget the fact he has stayed 2 times behind bars.

Unfortunately, Yanukovych has, in his first eight months in power, proven that the fears about him were on target. By far, the focus in his first eight months in power has been on strengthening his long-term hold on power by bending and outright violating any rational interpretation of Ukraine’s constitution – not on delivering economic reforms. Despite holding a monopoly on power and the backing Ukraine’s richest oligarchs, Yanukovych has failed to clean up Ukraine’s sick economy. It remains dominated by his close billionaire backers, shady inside dealings and corruption.

There is still no sign of a progressive tax code that would lift Ukraine’s struggling small- and medium-sized business out of the black market, and put average Ukrainians and investors on equal footing with oligarchs. Without this, Ukraine lacks another pillar of growth, leaving its economy vulnerable, unbalanced and dependent on oligarch-controlled industry that milk the nation of its natural resources, sharing little wealth with common citizens.

Squashing of opposition candidates and media in the run-up to the Oct. 31 vote – and growing signs that vote fraud could be at play – show that competition in politics and government is also not welcome. What is welcome for Yanukovych and his oligarch backers who see Ukraine as a corporation of their own is closer relations with an authoritarian Russia, one which could soon join them as a major shareholder in the nation. To top it off, Yanukovych’s judicial reforms offer citizens and oppositionists no independent courts to appeal to.

The scorecard is in. It’s undeniable. Ignoring Yanukovych’s anti-democratic actions with the false hope that he would respond by delivering changes that stabilize Ukraine economically and bring it closer to European Union standards has proved naive. Brussels, Washington and others who care for Ukraine should honestly assess his actions thus far and his handling of the Oct. 31 election. It’s time to call a spade a spade.

THE WOLDS EVIL DICTATORS

Posted by 26 October, 2010 (0) Comment

The Worlds dictator’s  dead or alive !

4912 THE WOLDS EVIL DICTATORS

During his visit to Ukraine on Oct 18-19 Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez  offered to go parachuting with “President” Viktor Yanukovych by jumping out of a Ukrainian -made Russian cargo plane. Yanukovych suggested that Russian “President” Dmitry Medvedev and Minister Vladimir Putin, Belarussian  President Alexander Lukashenko and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad should go with them as well.

We at THEPRAVDA.ORG say the same as the Critics and immediately take to the idea, and we are very intrigued by the possibility that -should NOT North Korean leader Kim Jong ill join them. Then the world can be a better place don’t you think?

If not look at it this way:

As most of the Evil dictators of this world will all be in one basket of eggs so to speak and all of them jumping out together in perfect harmony form a perfectly well functioning aeroplane. If we are very very very very lucky their parachutes  will not open and the world will be a better place just like the Michel Jacksons song.

Make It A Better Place For You And For Me And The Entire Human Race …. ..A Better Place For You And For Me……

yes if the world was just so lucky one time yes just one time !

We at thePravda.org think this is a good idea it just goes to show that even Mr Viktor Yanukovych The President of Ukraine and Russia favourite leaky boy relay is a smart man.

We at Thepravda.org salute you for your foresight and vision in this proposal Mr President as we think it is a very presidential proposal .

Disinformation on Ukraine’s

Freedom Fighters

Disinformation on Ukraines Freedom Fighters One of the most famous opposition leaders during and after the Second World War was Stepan Bandera.
The aim of  Bandera was to gain  independence for Ukraine.   Bandera’s name became synonymous
with Ukrainian patriotism / Nationalism during the Soviet era.  Many lies have been published in the Ukrainiaphobe media about Stepan Bandera and the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN).   This organization has been portrayed as having perpetrated such heinous crimes as mass killing of many people including Jews.

A young patriot and in our eyes a hero Mykola Kokhanivsky, used a sledgehammer on the statue of Lenin

Posted by 20 June, 2010 (1) Comment

We advocate that a continuing presence of Lenin’s monuments in our country is humiliating to any Ukrainian with a national conscience.

And we ask the question why is the Lenin monument on the top of Shevchenko’s Boulevard anyway ? And why  is not a True Ukrainian like Tarras Shevchenko’s himself on the top ?

A young patriot and in our eyes a hero Mykola Kokhanivsky, used a sledgehammer on the statue of Lenin on June 30, 2009, his court case will now be coming up and we at thepravda.org hope he will get a verdict of not guilty as he was just executing the orders of his president at the time. Kokhanivsky got tired of Ukraine disobeying former President Viktor Yushchenko’s order to dismantle remnants of the totalitarian evil regime. He was trying to make a difference, by showing the way but a good deed never goes unpunished now this hero is getting charged for hooliganism by the pro Soviet / Russian forces that be.
